4 eCommerce Fulfilment Partners for Brands Expanding Abroad in 2026

Shipping to one country is simple enough. Shipping to five, with stock sitting close to customers in each one, is where most online brands hit a wall. The warehouse that worked fine for domestic orders suddenly can’t keep up with customs paperwork, regional carriers and returns from three time zones away.

That’s the point where outsourced fulfilment stops being a nice-to-have and starts being the thing that decides whether international growth actually happens. The four companies below all operate in this space, but they don’t all solve the same problem in the same way. Here’s what each one actually offers.

    Best for Multi-Region Expansion – J&J Fulfilment

J&J Fulfilment, formerly James & James Fulfilment, is built around a specific problem: getting stock physically closer to customers once a brand starts selling internationally. It’s an eCommerce and multichannel 3PL, and that “multichannel” part matters as much as the geography, since most growing brands aren’t selling through just one storefront.

It runs 12 fulfilment centres across five regions, spreading inventory so orders don’t have to cross oceans to reach the customer who bought them. That network has supported 47+ million orders shipped all time, including 9.3 million in the last year alone, across a base of 400+ global clients. Few fulfilment providers at this scale can point to a track record that long or that broad.

The platform behind it, ControlPort, is an award-winning fulfilment system, and it’s been running for over 10 years. That maturity shows up in faster delivery times, with the company citing 88% faster international shipping as a direct result of the network. For a brand trying to work out whether a market is worth entering before it commits to a warehouse lease there, this kind of setup does a lot of the early legwork.

Best for Hands-On Support with Automated Fulfilment – Huboo

Huboo runs its own warehouses and technology rather than leasing out space from third parties, and it covers the UK, the European Union and the US. The company calls itself an eCommerce fulfilment partner, and the pitch leans heavily on combining real people with automated systems, storing, picking, packing and delivering stock without much manual intervention once an order comes in.

The numbers back up the operational side. Huboo reports a 99.9% verified picking accuracy rate and connects with 35+ sales channel integrations, so a brand selling across several marketplaces can route orders through one dashboard that also handles inventory, courier tracking and billing. It’s rated highly based on, which is a decent sample size for this kind of service.

The catch is the entry point. Pricing starts from £1,500 per month, which puts it out of reach for very early-stage sellers still testing a product line. It’s a better fit for a brand that’s already proven demand and needs the infrastructure to match growing order volumes.

    Best for US-Based 2-Day Shipping – ShipBob

ShipBob positions itself as an end-to-end global fulfilment provider, handling everything from inventory distribution to multichannel order fulfilment and returns. Its strongest selling point is domestic US speed: 2-day shipping across the continental US, backed by inventory spread across US regions with automated replenishment so stock doesn’t run dry in one warehouse while sitting idle in another.

It also offers customized unboxing experiences and real-time warehouse tracking with reorder alerts, plus international and B2B fulfilment for brands that need to serve both retail partners and direct customers.

ShipBob suits a brand whose growth is mostly concentrated in the US market and wants fast domestic delivery as the priority, with international reach treated as a secondary capability rather than the main offer.

Best for Unifying Fulfilment Across Markets – fulfilmentcrowd

fulfilmentcrowd markets itself around a single idea: one platform managing omnichannel fulfilment across multiple markets and sales channels. The pitch is consolidation, letting a brand scale into new regions and channels without juggling separate systems for each one.

It’s aimed at brands that want a single control point for fulfilment rather than a patchwork of regional tools, and it reads as a reasonable option for a business at the stage where channel sprawl, rather than order volume, is the main headache.

What actually changes when you fulfil internationally

Domestic fulfilment is mostly about speed and accuracy inside one carrier network. International fulfilment adds a different set of problems: customs declarations, import duties, regional returns handling and currency differences on top of the basic pick-and-pack process. A provider that’s great at shipping within one country doesn’t automatically translate that into a smooth EU-to-Australia operation.

Inventory placement is the other half of the equation. If all your stock sits in one warehouse, every international order travels the same long distance, whichever market it’s going to. Spreading stock across regional centres, the model used by several providers here, cuts that distance down, which is usually the biggest lever for improving delivery times abroad. It’s also worth checking how a provider handles scaling a growing business, since fulfilment needs change fast once order volume climbs.

Software visibility matters just as much as physical location. A dashboard that only shows domestic tracking is no use once orders start splitting across five countries’ worth of carriers. Look for live order tracking, inventory insights by location and clear SLA reporting, not just a confirmation email once a parcel ships.

Questions worth asking before you sign a contract

Does the provider have warehouses in the regions you’re actually expanding into? A network that covers the UK and US is no help if your next market is Southeast Asia. Match the provider’s footprint to your actual expansion plan, not the other way around.

Can their technology talk to the sales channels you already use? Integration gaps mean manual order entry, which is exactly the bottleneck outsourced fulfilment is meant to remove. Check the integration list against your own stack before committing.

What happens with returns in a market you don’t have staff in? International returns are slower and costlier than domestic ones by default. A provider with visibility into returns status, not just outbound shipping, saves a lot of guesswork later.

Is pricing transparent enough to budget around, or will you need a custom quote? Neither approach is wrong, but it changes how early in your decision process you can actually compare costs.

Picking the right partner for where you’re headed next

Huboo suits a brand that’s outgrown manual fulfilment and wants automated picking with a proven accuracy record. ShipBob is the stronger call if your volume is concentrated in the US and 2-day domestic shipping is the priority. Fulfilmentcrowd fits a business more concerned with managing channel complexity than raw shipping speed.

For a brand specifically chasing international growth, where the main question is how to get stock physically closer to customers in new regions without opening a warehouse yourself, J&J Fulfilment’s five-region, 12-centre network and decade-plus track record with ControlPort make it the standout choice. The 88% faster international delivery figure is the kind of result that matters most when distance, not domestic speed, is the problem you’re solving.
